Abstract: Far from the idea held by some sociologists that women occupy and are satisfied with a central role in the 'nuclear family', feminist studies in the two decades following the Second World War show the profound oppression suffered by women in the domestic. This chapter examines the extent to which women's culture was able to provide better living conditions for women in this period. Source: SPARKE, Penny. “Politiques sexuelles du goût.
